My mixed media piece entitled “Killa to da eardrum” is inspired by the Wu-Tang Clan song “Wu-tang clan ain’t nothing to fuck with” . The powerful lyrics in this song and on the entirety of the 36 chambers album is legendary. I chose the bar “Wu-Tang shogun, killa to da eardrum” , it’s an image I’ve had floating in my brain since hearing the song years ago. I painted the piece on wood and 3D printed the honeycomb pieces. This is very outside the box of my normal style, so this was very fun to experiment with and play around. I really love how it came together
