My tribute to Chappell Roan I'm calling "Where the antelope Chappell Roan" (see what | did there lol). I combined her likeness with a Roan antelope (seemed fitting) , for the cutest unexpected mashup, roan antelopes almost look like they are wearing makeup with their fur pattern so this felt super right to create.
I've been having so much fun blending animals & music together, & I'm back at it again. This is the 2nd piece in my series featuring some of my favorite women in music...currently & over my lifetime. This is an expansion of my already existing "Animals in music" series that ranges from classic rock to classic hip hop, & now pop music. I was heavily influenced by her Tiny Desk performance look for my inspiration while blending her into my work.
